A Complete Guide To Ibiza

Ibiza is world renowned for being the greatest party island ever. The party season runs from early May through to late September. Once you’ve finished reading this post, I am sure that you will be running to book a last minute flight for closing parties with some of the biggest DJ’s in the world. Go on… treat yourself.

This one is easy. Ibiza is HOT so dress accordingly. You’ll most likely spend your day time in swimwear due to either being on the beautiful white sandy beaches, or dancing the day away at a pool party. So, bring as many bikinis or shorts as you can. Your evenings will be spent raving it up at legendary clubs like Pacha or Ushuaia, so have a cheeky neon number ready. Alternatively a hearty dinner in Ibiza old town might be your cup of tea which you can pack a glam outfit and heels or shirt for.

Remember to pack

  • Euros
  • Sun cream
  • Portable charger
  • Fan
  • First aid kit
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Baby oil
  • Contraception

Choosing where to stay is a little bit harder. Although there are only 2 main locations for party goers to stay – Playa D’en Bossa and San Antonio – there are hundreds of hotels or AirBnB’s to choose from and just as many reasons why. Playa D’en Bossa boasts beautiful white sand beaches, epic pool parties every single day at Jet apartments, the hippy market for all your souvenir needs, massive dance clubs like Ushuaia and Hi and… a fucking water park. San Antonio boasts party accommodation, the ‘west end’ night club strip, water sports like jet skiing or assault courses, boat excursions to other islands, Ocean beach club for pool parties and glamour and loads of really good food spots like my favourite spot Rio… Oops, have I just made choosing a location a little bit harder for you?

Ibiza is one of those places that you can never run out of things to do. Every single day there are multiple events spanning the island. How do you choose between brunch, pool parties, massive DJ club nights or dinner? What if one night you want to listen to house music, then RnB, then hip hop or even reggaeton? Well, IBIZA SPOTLIGHT website/Instagram breaks it all down all the best events daily for you. This way you can plan in advance or make make last minute changes to your itinerary. There are always promoters around telling you what is on and how much tickets are from them. Alternatively, most hotels sell tickets at their reception, so if you want to be a little safer, they can have it all printed off for you.

So now that you have your complete guide to Ibiza, when are you booking your flight?
